Botox® & Jeuveau®
PRE & POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please review these instructions before and after your treatment to help promote a safe, comfortable experience and optimal results.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
• Arrive with a clean face when possible, free of makeup over the treatment area.
• Avoid alcohol for approximately 24 hours before treatment when possible, as it may increase bruising.
• Certain medications and supplements may increase bruising, including aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, and others. Do not discontinue any prescribed medication unless instructed by the prescribing healthcare provider.
• Tell your provider about all medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, and previous cosmetic treatments.
• Notify your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection or skin irritation near the treatment area, or have experienced problems with neuromodulator treatments in the past.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You may begin noticing improvement within several days. Results typically continue to develop over approximately 1–2 weeks.
Individual results and duration vary depending on the treatment area, dose, muscle activity, and individual response.
FOLLOW-UP
If a follow-up assessment is recommended, it is generally performed approximately 2 weeks after treatment, once the treatment has had adequate time to take effect.
CONTACT STOUT AESTHETICS
Contact Stout Aesthetics if you have questions or concerns following your treatment. Seek prompt medical attention for significant or unexpected symptoms, including difficulty breathing, swallowing, speaking, or severe weakness.
These instructions provide general guidance and do not replace individualized medical advice. Always follow the specific instructions provided by your Stout Aesthetics medical provider.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
• Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying significant pressure to the treated areas for the remainder of the day.
• Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat for approximately 24 hours.
• Makeup and normal skincare may generally be resumed gently after treatment unless otherwise instructed.
• Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or small bumps at the injection sites can occur and usually resolve quickly.
• Bruising is possible and may take several days to resolve.
DERMAL FILLERS & LIP ENHANCEMENT
Evolysse™ Smooth | Evolysse™ Form
PRE & POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please review these instructions before and after your treatment to help promote a safe, comfortable experience and optimal results.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
• Arrive with a clean face when possible, free of makeup over the treatment area.
• Avoid alcohol for approximately 24 hours before treatment when possible, as it may increase bruising.
• Certain medications and supplements may increase bruising, including aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, and others. Do not stop prescribed medications unless instructed by the healthcare provider who prescribed them.
• Tell your provider about all medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, previous filler treatments, and any history of reactions to injectable products.
• Notify Stout Aesthetics before treatment if you have an active infection, rash, acne outbreak, cold sore, dental infection, or other illness.
• If you have a history of cold sores, particularly when treating the lips or surrounding area, tell your provider before your appointment. Preventive medication may be considered when medically appropriate.
• Discuss recent or upcoming dental procedures with your provider.
• Notify your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results are visible immediately, but your appearance immediately after injection is not your final result.
Swelling and bruising can temporarily alter the appearance of the treated area. Allow approximately 2 weeks for the filler to integrate and the treated area to settle before evaluating the final result.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
• Mild swelling, tenderness, redness, firmness, and bruising can occur following dermal filler treatment.
• Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying significant pressure to treated areas unless specifically instructed by your provider.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, saunas, hot tubs, and alcohol for approximately 24 hours after treatment.
• Use gentle skincare and avoid aggressive facial treatments until the treated area has settled.
• A cool compress may be used gently for temporary swelling or discomfort if recommended. Do not apply ice directly to the skin.
• For lip enhancement, swelling may be more noticeable during the first few days and may temporarily make the lips appear uneven.
FOLLOW-UP
If a follow-up assessment is recommended, it is generally performed approximately 2 weeks after treatment.
Additional treatment should be based on your anatomy, goals, and response to the initial treatment rather than immediately adding more filler because of temporary swelling or asymmetry.
IMPORTANT — WHEN TO CONTACT US
Contact Stout Aesthetics promptly if you experience severe or increasing pain, unusual skin blanching or whitening, dusky or mottled discoloration, increasing redness/warmth, drainage, significant swelling, or other symptoms that concern you.
Vision changes, loss of vision, severe eye pain, sudden neurologic symptoms, or other severe symptoms following filler injection require immediate emergency medical evaluation.

MICRONEEDLING
Evolysse™ Smooth | Evolysse™ Form
PRE & POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please review these instructions before and after your treatment to help promote a safe, comfortable experience and optimal results.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
• Arrive with clean skin when possible, free of makeup, lotions, or other products over the treatment area.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning before treatment. Notify Stout Aesthetics if you have a recent sunburn.
• Avoid waxing, depilatory creams, or other potentially irritating treatments over the treatment area for several days beforehand.
• Discuss retinoids, exfoliating acids, prescription topical medications, and other potentially irritating skincare products with your provider. You may be instructed to temporarily hold certain products before treatment.
• Tell your provider about all medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, recent procedures, and your history of abnormal scarring or keloids.

• Tell your provider if you have a history of cold sores. Preventive antiviral medication may be considered when appropriate.
• Notify your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have had a significant change in your health since your consultation.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
• Redness, warmth, tightness, tenderness, and mild swelling are common immediately following microneedling. Your skin may resemble a mild-to-moderate sunburn.
• Avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily, and wash your hands before applying skincare products.
• Follow the specific post-treatment skincare regimen recommended by Stout Aesthetics.
• Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other potentially irritating products until your skin has recovered and your provider advises you to resume them.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, saunas, hot tubs, and significant heat exposure for approximately 24–48 hours or as directed.

• Avoid direct sun exposure. Once appropriate for your skin following treatment, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and continue diligent sun protection.
• Do not pick, peel, scrub, or intentionally exfoliate flaking skin.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the first several days, you may experience:
Redness • Dryness • Tightness • Mild Swelling • Flaking
These effects generally improve as the skin barrier recovers.
Skin improvements occur gradually as the natural remodeling process continues. Depending on your goals, a series of treatments may be recommended.
MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP/PRF OR OTHER ADJUNCTS
If PRP, PRF, or another professional topical product is incorporated into your treatment, you may receive additional aftercare instructions specific to that treatment.
Follow those individualized instructions in addition to the general microneedling guidance above.

Contact us if you experience symptoms that are severe, worsening, or unexpected, including:
Increasing pain • Significant swelling • Blistering • Drainage • Spreading redness or warmth • Fever • Signs of infection • Persistent or concerning skin changes

• Do not apply products to the scalp that were not recommended or approved by your provider immediately following treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
PRP and PRF hair restoration work with your body's own regenerative processes. Hair changes therefore occur gradually, not immediately.
Depending on your hair-loss pattern and treatment plan, a series of treatments may be recommended, followed by maintenance treatments when appropriate.
Individual response varies, and results cannot be guaranteed.
MEDICAL HAIR RESTORATION
If your individualized hair-restoration program also includes prescription oral or topical therapy, continue those medications exactly as directed unless your medical provider instructs you otherwise.
Your medication plan may be adjusted based on your response, tolerance, medical history, and treatment goals.
Do not change the dose or discontinue prescribed hair-loss medication without discussing it with your medical provider.
WHEN TO CONTACT STOUT AESTHETICS
Contact Stout Aesthetics if you experience symptoms that are severe, worsening, or unexpected, including:
Increasing or severe pain • Significant swelling • Persistent bleeding • Drainage • Spreading redness or warmth • Fever • Signs of infection • Other concerning symptoms

MEDICAL WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
PRE & POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please review these instructions before and after your treatment to help promote a safe, comfortable experience and optimal results.
BEFORE STARTING YOUR PROGRAM
• Complete your medical history and provide an accurate list of all prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements.
• Tell your provider about previous weight-loss medications, including why they were discontinued and any side effects you experienced.
• Discuss significant medical conditions, prior surgeries, allergies, and relevant family history.
• Tell your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, or could become pregnant.
• Complete any laboratory testing or additional medical evaluation requested by your provider before beginning treatment.
• Do not begin, discontinue, combine, or change the dose of weight-management medications without discussing it with your medical provider.
DURING YOUR PROGRAM
• Do not increase your dose early because you are tolerating the medication well or because you want faster weight loss.
• Attend recommended follow-up appointments so we can monitor your progress, medication tolerance, nutrition, and overall health.
• Maintain adequate hydration.
• Follow the individualized nutrition, physical-activity, and lifestyle recommendations discussed with your provider.
• Tell Stout Aesthetics about new medications or significant changes in your health during the program.
IF YOUR PROGRAM INCLUDES AN INJECTABLE MEDICATION
Follow the medication-specific instructions provided with your prescription.
Use the medication only as directed and do not share medication or injection supplies with anyone else.
Use a new needle for each injection and dispose of used needles in an appropriate sharps container.
Rotate injection sites as instructed.
If you miss a dose, do not automatically double the next dose. Follow the medication-specific instructions or contact Stout Aesthetics for guidance.
SIDE EFFECTS
Side effects depend upon the medication prescribed.
With some commonly used weight-management medications, gastrointestinal symptoms such as:
Nausea • Constipation • Diarrhea • Vomiting • Abdominal discomfort • Decreased appetite
may occur, particularly when starting treatment or following a dose increase.
Contact Stout Aesthetics if side effects are persistent, worsening, difficult to tolerate, or interfering with adequate food or fluid intake.
WHEN TO SEEK PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION
Patients should receive medication-specific warning information based on the therapy prescribed.
Seek prompt medical evaluation for severe or persistent abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, inability to maintain hydration, symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, or other severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.
For a medical emergency, seek emergency care rather than waiting for a routine office response.
YOUR FOLLOW-UP
Medical weight management is an ongoing program, not simply a prescription.
Follow-up allows us to evaluate:
Weight & Measurements • Medication Response • Side Effects • Nutrition • Activity • Treatment Goals • Long-Term Maintenance
Your treatment plan may be adjusted as your needs and response change.
A LONG-TERM APPROACH
Our goal is not simply short-term weight loss. We want to help you develop a sustainable approach to weight management that incorporates appropriate medical treatment, nutrition, activity, lifestyle changes, and continued support.
